Life ... Expanded Extended Exploded ....

A long time ago ... a child would be born and would live through the entire lifetime in a single place (village or city) before perishing at the humble old age

 

Now ... You are born in a place, your parents might have to travel due to their jobs and they take you places ...

You go to school in different cities and sometimes different countries too

 

You want to study 'higher' and get an admission into a professional school in a different city / state ...

You want to study still higher and get an admission into a different city , satate and sometimes country tooo ...

 

You take up a job and they send you around from one city to another on assignments and then from one country to another ... till you retire and decide to rest in one place :)

 

and your child meets a similarly complex fate fo travel acrosss the globe ...

 

All this while ... you go around ... making friends and losing them ... losing track of old relationships adn forming new ones ...

a transient life with no sign of permenancy except the phrase 'change is the only constant'

What is it that we want and what si it that we are running after ?

 

Sometimes ... sitting on a sofa or while staring at the star-less city sky ... i wonder ...

 

is this LIFE ????
